ALUMNI DAY ... OCTOBER 2 ... SAVE THE DATE!
Yes...it's a chance for alumni and friends to gather on campus again, enjoy good music and food, and cheer for the Giant football team ... All Redwood alumni, families, and friends are welcome to attend the BBQ with music on the south lawn, from 11:00 am – 2:00 pm, in support of the Redwood High School Foundation and Redwood Alumni Association. Catch up with your former classmates, relax and enjoy the view of beautiful Mt. Tam. More details will be posted here as they develop. The BBQ and music will be followed by Redwood High School’s Pigskin Club sponsored celebration at the October 2, 2010 Varsity football game (Redwood vs. Tam – 2:00 pm). The first three championship football teams of 1958 – 1960, Coach Bob Troppmann, and Assistant Coach Al Endriss will be honored in a half-time ceremony. A reception for the alumni, current team and others will follow the game.

IT'S REUNION TIME!
The classes of 1970, 1980, 1990, and 2000 have reunions planned so check out the reunion page for your class and join the fun. Also, there is a reunion being planned on October 30 for the early '70's classes. More details will appear on the reunion page. If you want to start planning for next year, contact reunions@redwoodalumni.org to get started with help from our online-community database.

We're still trying to build our contact information so PLEASE go to the Redwood On-Line Community and register or update your information for FREE! This is our only way to connect with you and tell you about upcoming reunions and events. (You don’t have to subscribe to register).If you have contact information for friends, send it to info@redwoodalumni.org and we will enter it into the database.
WRITE our own NEWSLETTER: Please send us stories to include in our on-line newsletter: Send to newsletter@redwoodalumni.org. Include your name and the year you graduated. Some suggestions:
- Stories about your reunions
- Memories of your days at Redwood. I remember when…
- A tribute to your favorite teacher
- Share with us how Redwood has changed (especially if you have several generations of Giants in your family)
JOIN the Alumni Council! We are looking for some dedicated alumni to join in the planning. Only four-five meetings a year! Next meeting Wednesday, August 25 in the Redwood Library at 7 PM
- We are looking for a DECADE REPRESENTATIVE for the ‘80s, ‘90’s and ‘00s who will connect with a contact person for each graduating class. We’d like to keep everyone informed about class reunions and class news. Contact council@redwoodalumni.org.
- CLASS CONTACT: If you are the person who has organized your class reunions, or plan to, contact reunions@redwoodalumni.org and let us know how to reach you…email and phone #. We will publish your reunion information and help you with your database.
- We have several technological needs. If any of you want to help, we need a DATABASE ADMINISTRATOR to update our Harris Online Community files. We also want to make the website more interactive with the ability to post information and current alumni news. If anyone has “social networking” interests, it would be great to get an active FaceBook group going as well. Contact: info@redwoodalumni.org
GIVE BACK TO REDWOOD:
- Stay connected to Redwood by making a donation to the Redwood High School Foundation to support academics, sports, arts, campus beautification and scholarships. Your name will be posted on this site.
- It’s not too late to buy a brick paver for the Lunch Plaza. If you visited the campus for the 50th you saw the beautiful new lunch area. Bricks will be added each spring to honor yourself, a staff member, group, team or friend.
- When you clean the attic, we welcome Redwood memorabilia from clothes and photos, to athletic and drama programs for the Redwood Archives in the library. Contact: archives@redwoodalumni.org.
